A workshop to improve road safety for young drivers, in partnership with Avon & Somerset Police.

Home > Police Referred Course > Community Safety > Raise Your Drive workshop

Safe habits start before you get behind the wheel

It is a thought-provoking and fun way for young people to learn life-preserving practical skills with friends before they get behind the wheel, using peer discussion and innovative participative techniques such as live app-based voting to inject energy.

The Raise Your Drive workshop is facilitated by a DBS-checked facilitator and is available online or as a classroom session. This course won the FirstCar Young Driver Road Safety Award.

The course includes insight into the Fatal Five of speed, seatbelts, mobile phone use, drink and drugs, and careless driving. More than 97 per cent of students said they would recommend it to others. Available to schools, higher education establishments, and organisations with young drivers.
