TTC Group to continue making Yorkshire roads safer after securing new driver rehabilitation contract
TTC Group has been successfully awarded a new contract to continue to deliver Speed Awareness and other courses for North Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Police, and South Yorkshire Police under the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS).
TTC Group has been working with South Yorkshire Police for more than fifteen years, a relationship that extended into North Yorkshire in 2014, and West Yorkshire in 2018.
Having demonstrated the highest level of quality during the most recent competitive tender process (Public Procurement Regulations), a process professionally managed by Policing Yorkshire & The Humber, TTC were this week announced as the successful NDORS Provider for a further five years.
This will involve delivering National Speed Awareness, Safe and Considerate Driving, Rider Intervention and Development Experience, ‘What’s Driving Us?’ and National Motorway Awareness courses online, and across twenty-three venues throughout North, West and South Yorkshire.
The latest contract marks a hugely successful twelve months for the Telford-based company, who are appointed by fourteen UK Police Forces to support over 480,000 people to become better drivers every year.
“We have an excellent relationship, more of a partnership with each Yorkshire Force and understand the accessibility of courses and quality of training being delivered to Yorkshire’s residents as part of their commitment to making the area’s roads safer,” explained Sharon Haynes, Director at TTC Group.
“Having delivered all courses online during the pandemic, TTC is wholly committed to returning our Speed Awareness courses to the classroom, and have been working with our trusted, local supply chain to make this happen.
“As well as evidencing our consistently high-quality service, we have also made several Social Value pledges to help further improve road safety and the environment for all communities throughout North, West and South Yorkshire.”
