Road Safety Trainer

Opportunities to join our professional trainer panel to deliver a variety of training courses to drivers referred by the Police and Courts with the flexibility to deliver at a time and frequency to suit you, predominantly online via Zoom on a self employed basis.

The role

As a leading provider of Road Safety Education, delivering driver training to over 800,000 qualified road users every year that have been referred by the police or courts, we have high demand for our courses both online (via Zoom) and in our training centres throughout the UK and we are looking to expand our talented panel of driver trainers on a contract for services/self-employed basis.

No experience of road safety training is required as we offer a comprehensive trainer development programme which will support each candidate through the NDORS accreditation process and provide all of the core capabilities to deliver the current suite of NDORS road safety training courses.   • Teaching qualification at Level 3 or higher (ie PTTLS, AET, CertEd, BEd, PGCE, CIPD L&D)
  • Hold or be prepared to undertake an annual, enhanced DBS check
  • Hold Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance cover
  • Supply own laptop and have basic IT competence

If you want the flexibility to work at a time and frequency that suits you (or to supplement a primary income with evening/weekend work), we have the availability to work with you on a freelance/self-employed basis with day rates starting at £150.00 – £200.00 per day. We also offer a comprehensive induction and training programme, completed remotely with ongoing CPD opportunities and the ability to work across our group in private and public sector, subject to the necessary training and qualifications.
